Dr. Avery Mathew is a Senior Consultant - Cardiac Surgery in Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bommasandra, Bangalore and completed M.B.B.S from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, March 1975, M.S (General Surgery) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, June 1989 and M.Ch (Cardiothoracic Surgery) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, June 1994. His field of expertise lies in Cardiac surgery-adult. Prior joining to Narayana Hospital, Dr. Mathew has worked as an overseas Fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital, Sydney, Australia. He also worked as Sr. Registrar in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Apollo Hospitals and Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Chennai. Dr. Avery Mathew has also worked as a Resident Surgeon in Cardiothoracic & General Surgery at Medical Trust Hospital, Ernakulam, Cochin, India.
